We began by building a simple solution for our internal use. There was never an intention to make it a SaaS or sell it; our only goal was to create a straightforward tool that worked for us, instead of trying more scheduling tools that required constant workarounds. It worked seamlessly for our team, and as we continued to improve it, we saw its potential to benefit others. We identified significant gaps in the scheduling market and realized that our tool could fill those gaps effectively.
As developers, another major frustration we faced was the time it took to get things working with competitors' APIs. Webhooks were a pain, often requiring extensive effort and causing delays. One of the first things we did was enable our users to create integrations in seconds, simplifying the process and saving valuable time.
Of course, entering a crowded market with just one or two unique features wasn’t enough. We embarked on a mission to develop a comprehensive product that not only offered innovative solutions but also included all the essential features customers expect from a scheduling tool.
