10. Google Integration

Gmail Integration

Our app integrates with the Gmail API to allow users to send emails directly from the app. We request the following permissions from users:

  • Gmail Send Scope: The app uses the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send scope to allow users to send emails directly from their Gmail accounts.
  • Email Information: We also use the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email scope to access your email address for identification purposes.

We do not access or store the content of your emails, nor do we read your email messages. Emails are sent directly through your Gmail account upon your explicit request. The email address accessed is used solely for identification within the app.

Google Contacts Integration

We integrate with Google Contacts to help users find people and manage their availability. The following permissions are requested from users:

  • Contacts Read Scope: We use https://www.googleapis.com/auth/contacts.readonly to display a list of your contacts within the app for easy scheduling and sharing of availability.
  • Other Contacts Read Scope: The https://www.googleapis.com/auth/contacts.other.readonly scope allows us to access other contacts associated with your account.
  • Email Information: The https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email scope is also used for identification and to personalize your experience.

We do not modify or share your contact information with any third parties. Contacts data is accessed solely for the purpose of helping you manage scheduling and event sharing.

Google Calendar Integration

Our app integrates with Google Calendar to assist users in managing their schedules and creating events. We request the following permission from users:

  • Calendar Access Scope: The https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar scope allows us to check your calendar availability and create events on your behalf.

We use your calendar data solely to assist with scheduling and creating events, including generating Google Meet links for virtual meetings. We do not modify or delete existing events unless explicitly requested by you.

11. Data Security for Google Integrations

We implement a variety of security measures to protect any data accessed through Google integrations. This includes encrypting tokens used for authentication and ensuring that all communications between our app and Google services are encrypted using HTTPS. While we strive to ensure the security of your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute protection.

All OAuth tokens and sensitive credentials are stored securely in our PostgreSQL database, encrypted using industry-standard algorithms, and are decrypted only when needed for integration functions. We do not share or sell Zoom user data and only use it to facilitate scheduled meetings and related functions.

16. Data Retention Policy
